Fresh, zingy and light, this is a classic dessert.

Ingredients

  • 600 ml double cream
  • 120g caster sugar
  • Zest and juice of 1 orange
  • Zest and juice of 2 lemons
  • Grated chocolate (optional)

Method

1. Gently heat half the cream with half the sugar until the sugar dissolves.

2. Remove from heat, stir in the orange zest and juice, and set aside.

3. Repeat with the remaining cream and sugar, using the lemon zest and juice.

4. Pour into glasses, chill for a few hours or overnight, and top with grated chocolate if desired.
