Ingredients
Serves: 4 as a side

- 400g Brussels Sprouts
- 1/4tsp salt
- 1 tbsp white sesame seeds, roasted
Chilli garlic sauce:
- 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1tbsp sambal oelek chilli paste
- 2tbsp Lee Kum Kee Premium Light Soy Sauce
- 1tbsp Lee Kum Kee Rice Vinegar
- 2tsp sugar
- 60ml water
- 1tsp cornflour mixed with 1 tbsp cold water
Method
- Trim the brown ends off the Brussels sprouts.
- Bring a pot of water to the boil and add 1/4tsp salt.
- Boil the Brussels sprouts for 6-8 mins until slightly soft.
- For the sauce, mix together chilli paste, water, white rice vinegar, light soy sauce and sugar.
- In a wok, heat 1tbsp of oil. Add the garlic and Brussels sprouts, stir fry for 1 minute and then pour in the sauce and simmer for 1 minute.
- Turn the heat down low and slowly add in your cornstarch water until the sauce is thickened and glossy.
- Garnish with some white roasted sesame seeds.
