Ingredients

Serves: 2

  • 8 potatoes
  • 200ml cream
  • 8 slices mozzarella
  • 8 slices ham
  • Chives
  • Salt and pepper
  • 3 eggs
  • Flour
  • Polenta
  • Icing sugar
  • Chili powder
  • Oil for deep frying

Method

  1. Boil and rice the potatoes. Stir in 200ml cream until smooth, season well.
  2. Add ham and cheese to cooled mash. Roll into doughnut shapes and freeze until firm.
  3. Dip in flour, egg wash, and polenta. Deep fry at 170°C until golden.
  4. Dust with chili icing sugar before serving.
