Ingredients

Serves 2

  • 200g tin baked beans
  • 2 slices wholemeal toast
  • 1 teaspoon softened butter (5g)

Method

  1. Pour the baked beans into a small saucepan and simmer gently until piping hot, stirring occasionally. This can also be done in a bowl in the microwave if you prefer.
  2. Toast the bread and spread with the butter. Arrange on a plate and spoon over the baked beans to serve.
