Warm White Wine with Honey and Herbs

Serves 6

  • 1 bottle of dry white wine (I like to use a Sauvignon Blanc)
  • finely grated rind and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 small bunch of fresh thyme
  • 1 small bunch of fresh rosemary
  • 2 tbsp honey

Santa's Little Helper

  1. Put the cream, cream liqeur, vodka and amaretto in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add a good handful of crushed ice and shake until thoroughly combined.
  3. Strain into Martini glasses and give each one a light dusting of cinnamon and nutmeg to serve.

Festive Pomegranate Mojito

  1. Put the pomegranate juice, lime juice, sugar and most of the mint leaves in a large jug.
  2. Crush the ingredients together with the end of a rolling pin to release the flavour of the mint and dissolve the sugar.
  3. Add the rum and mix well, then top up with the soda water and plenty of ice, stirring until well combined.
  4. Pour into tall cocktail glasses and decorate with the rest of the mint leaves, the pomegranate seeds, and the lime slices to serve.

Warm White Wine with Honey and Herbs

  1. Put all the ingredients in a heavy-based pan. Heat gently until just simmering, and then pour into warmed glasses to serve.
