Following the Celebrity Operation Transformation food plan? Check out this seared salmon and lentil veg sauté from week 1.



  • 2 salmon fillets (120g each) 
  • 1 clove garlic, minced 
  • 100g kale, roughly chopped 
  • 3 carrots, peeled and chopped 
  • 100g canned lentils, drained 
  • 3 tsp olive oil 
  • 1 tsp red wine vinegar 
  • 100ml vegetable stock


  1. Add 1 ½ tsp oil to a pot over medium heat
  2. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring to prevent burning
  3. Now add kale, carrots, vegetable stock and red wine vinegar
  4. Cook until tender for about 12 - 15 minutes, stirring often
  5. Add lentils for last 3 minutes to heat through
  6. In a skillet/pan place remaining oil on medium to high heat, season salmon with a little salt and pepper and fry for 3 - 4 minutes per side until cooked through
  7. Serve salmon over lentil and vegetable mixture
