Operation Transformation is back on our screens for its tenth season which means a whole host of delicious and healthy new recipes.


  • 1/2 head cauliflower, cut into florets 
  • 100g wholewheat pasta (any shape)
  • 70g cheddar cheese, grated

Food Staples:

  • 10g flour
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 200g semi skimmed milk
  • Parsley, chopped (opptional garnish) 


  1. Place pasta in a pot of boiling water and simmer until cooked for approximately 8-10 minutes
  2. Steam cauliflower for 5-7 minutes 
  3. When cooked, place in a bowl and blend together using a hand blender
  4. Add butter to a saucepan and allow to melt. Add in flour and stir well
  5. Gradually add the milk to the saucepan stirring continually
  6. Stir in the grated cheese to the sauce and stir until sauce thickens
  7. Add the pureed cauliflower and cooked pasta to the sauce and mix together 
  8. Garnish with a handful of parsley and serve
