Ingredients

Globally 1,300,000,000 tonnes of food is wasted each year and Irish charity FoodCloud aims to reduce this amount by linking up supermarkets with charities in need. Plus they share great recipes using very common ingredients!

  • 24 small white mushrooms
  • 3oz hot Italian pork sausage
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs (no crust)
  • Basil leaves (for garnish)

Method

  1. Remove the stems from mushrooms and arrange on baking sheet. Finely chop half of the stems and stir together with bread crumbs and sausage. Mound in mushroom cups.
  2. Bake in a 200 C oven until cooked through for about 20 minutes.
  3. Garnish with small basil leaves and enjoy!
