Ingredients

Globally 1,300,000,000 tonnes of food is wasted each year and Irish charity FoodCloud aims to reduce this amount by linking up supermarkets with charities in need. Plus they share great recipes using very common ingredients!

  • 200g chicken breast - cubed
  • 200g uncooked pasta
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Tablespoon of lemon juice

Method

  1. Brown the chicken in a pot with oil
  2. Add in remaining ingredients. Bring pot to boil, stirring to mix all ingredients.
  3. Cook at a medium boil for about 10 minutes, keeping lid partially open.
  4. When pasta is about finished, remove lid and let pasta continue to cook for about another 2-3 minutes, letting the sauce thicken. Serve immediately!
