This is a master recipe, the berries can be replaced with chocolate chips, and the cinnamon can be replaced with a table spoon of cocoa powder and add the grated rind of an orange.
Ingredients
- 250g Plain flour
- 150g Melted butter
- 150g Brown sugar
- 150ml milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 175g Blueberries
Method
This is a master recipe, the berries can be replaced with chocolate chips, and the cinnamon can be replaced with a table spoon of cocoa powder. And add the grated rind of an orange.
- Preheat the oven to 200C.
- Put liners into muffin tin.
- Place the melted butter, sugar , milk and an egg into a bowl and until combined.
- In a separate bowl mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix together gently, fold in the blueberries.
- Divide the mixture between the 12 muffin cases and put in the oven for about 25 minutes until risen and golden brown.
