Ingredients

Ingredients for Marination

  • 4 tbs low fat yogurt
  • 1 tsp ground cumin and coriander
  • 1 tsp chilli powder (to your taste)
  • ¾ tsp salt or (to your taste)
  • 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

8 drumsticks

Potato Salad

  • 4 boiled roster potato roughly chopped
  • 1 medium red onion
  • salt to your taste
  • 1 fresh chilli finely chopped
  • 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • handful of fresh coriander

  1. Mix all the the above ingredients for marination in a bowl with chicken drumsticks. Leave it overnight or at least for 2-4 hours
  2. Preheat oven for 200 degree
  3. While oven is heating, heat a non stick pan or pot and add marinated chicken. Cover and cook in a medium to low heat for  3-4 min.
  4. Pour the chicken from the pot to oven tray and cook in preheated oven for about 25- 30 min or until its cooked and nicely browned.
  5. For the potato salad mix all the ingredients together.

Tips: 

Add drained chickpea to potato salad.

Note:
Serve two drumsticks with potato salad and greens per person.
