This is a great way of cooking your favourite fish while keeping the flavour intact. These magic cooking bags are normally used for roasting poultry but work really well with fish.

Ingredients

  • 4 x 150g John Dory fillets
  • 250g fresh asparagus
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 medium carrots, thinly sliced
  • 100ml olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh tarragon

Method

This is a great way of cooking your favourite fish while keeping the flavour intact. These magic cooking bags are normally used for roasting poultry but work really well with fish. 

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200°C. Lay the sliced carrots on the bottom of the magic bag. Place the fish on top.
  2. Slice the asparagus into small pieces, mix in a bowl with the lemon juice, olive oil and the fresh tarragon. Spoon over the fish.
  3. Seal the bag, place on a baking tray and bake in the oven for 12mins.
  4. Remove and put on a plate unopened.
