Incredibly easy, giving maximum taste, these will have you wondering why you didn't make your own salad dressing before.
Ingredients
- For the Asian Dressing
- 3 tblsp sunflower oil
- 1 tblsp dark soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 thumb-sized piece of ginger, peeled and finely chopped or grated
- 2 tsp honey
- Juice of 1 lime
- For the French Mustard Dressing
- 1 garlic clove, peeled and finely chopped
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tblsp white wine vinegar
- 1 tblsp lemon juice
- 3 tblsp extra virgin olive oil
- A generous pinch of sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
- For the Herby Balsamic Dressing
- 1 garlic clove, peeled and finely chopped
- A good handful each of fresh rosemary, thyme and basil, finely chopped, plus a couple of large rosemary sprigs
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tblsp balsamic vinegar
- 3 tblsp extra virgin olive oil
- A generous pinch of sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Method
- For each dressing, simply whisk the ingredients together, or to make them ahead of time, pop the ingredients in a clean jar. Screw on the lid and shake well to combine.
