Kia's compact SUV that punches above its weight

In a fiercely competitive segment, the EV5 has a few tricks up its sleeve.

Kia has built a reputation for clever packaging, and the EV5 continues to extract space from its platform. The EV5 is designed with decent rear legroom and a wide, square boot opening.

The cabin is notably airy thanks to its upright stance and long wheelbase, and the flat floor means even the middle‑seat passenger gets decent foot space.

The single‑motor setup is smooth, with predictable acceleration. It's not as punchy as the EV6, but it's more than enough for overtaking and motorway merging.
