We take a look at the INEOS Grenadier LeTech x Lennson Pro Single Cab, and Mark Flynn from Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue, tells us some of the history behind how they got started and just some of the work involved in providing 24/7 emergency response.
The volunteers at Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue do an immense amount of work every year to help those who find themselves suddenly at risk. They provide 24/7 emergency response in the upland areas of Dublin and Wicklow using support vehicles such as the Ineos Grenadier as well as Land Rover Defenders to help them get the job done.
The team can be called out by the National Ambulance Service and An Garda Síochána to assist with emergencies such as injured hikers, missing persons, or severe weather incidents. Their work often involves collaboration with Coast Guard helicopters, particularly Rescue 116, to reach remote or dangerous terrain.
