Known for budget-conscious motoring, MG has undergone a transformation in recent years and continues to evolve in the European market. With the ZS Hybrid+, MG wants to open up hybrid driving to attract more buyers with well-equipped and spacious hybrid SUVs at a price that undercuts rivals.
And while it does all these things well, there are areas that could learn from the refinement of their HS PHEV. The cruise control, in particular, is in need of refinement on the ZS to make long motorway journeys much smoother and less tiring, and many frequently used functions are still buried within infotainment menus.
