Now that the Model Y has had a facelift and a few upgrades, is it on par with Chinese brand Xpeng's latest G6 model?
The G6 is all about passenger comfort. It has excellent range and efficiency as well as a loaded infotainment system. As responsive as it is, absolutely everything runs through that infotainment system, which is similar to the Model Y.
Where it differs is the interior refinement and driving style; the G6 offers a more fluid driving experience without the overly heavy brake regeneration of the Model Y. The 800-volt architecture ensures super-fast charging with a 10-80% charge possible in 20 minutes, so it won't take long to get back on the road.
