The EX40 (formerly the XC40) comes with a modern and fresh exterior and much of the XC40's interior. The charging rates are much improved, and the ambience of the cabin is pleasant with plenty of luxury-feel materials throughout.
You still have a hump in the floor which limits rear passenger space, the infotainment system is largely the same as before, and it can be a bit hit and miss with mobile device connections using Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay.
