Toyota outlines BEV, GR & Lexus strategy at Kenshiki forum

Toyota recently outlined its BEV strategy at its Kenshiki forum. Lexus also reaffirmed its strategic status as a leader in battery electric vehicle technology within Toyota. Meanwhile, TGR aims to go back to its roots at the Nürburgring 24 Hours using a GR Yaris.

Toyota demonstrated its commitment to meeting the diverse needs of customers using a multi-pathway product strategy towards carbon neutrality. The Toyota FT-Me Concept embodies this strategy, it's a compact battery electric vehicle designed to tackle the challenges of evolving urban environments.

Toyota's planned battery electric vehicles launching in 2025 and 2026 will compete in Europe's core B, C and D-SUV markets. Toyota unveiled the new C-HR+ (600 km range), bZ4X will arrive in Ireland in late 2025 and the all new Urban Cruiser will arrive in 2026.

These new battery electric models will play key roles in Toyota's multi-pathway strategy for carbon neutrality in Europe for 2035.
