If you're looking at any of the mid-range hybrid SUV's currenty on the market, such as the Seal U Super Hybrid or Nissan's Qashqai, we'd suggest sitting into MG's HS PHEV.
While the name doesn't stand out, the interior certainly does. If you were blindfolded and couldn't see the badge, you might think you were in a Lexus. There's plush materials used in the right places, as well as the obligatory scratchy plastics but they're low down where they get kicked about the most.
It's clear they spent a lot of time working on the HS, it's spacious, drives nicely (if a little light on motorways) and the hybrids electric range can go up to 120 kms. It's most unfortunate, however, that the driver aids are very distracting and adjusting the settings not a simple task.
