Smaller and lighter it isn't but the Mini Countryman shines as a great driving electric car with a luxury interior.
All versions of the Countryman get keyless start, two-zone climate control, alloy wheels, a heated steering wheel, LED headlights and adaptive cruise. This SE ALL4 version comes with Park Assist Plus, augmented-reality view on the sat-nav electrically, adjustable front seats. The start funcitonality and mobile connection is finnicky but once up and running works well.
The Countryman is more square in its design than its predecessors which is good for passenger space in the front and the rear.
Mini Ireland lent the vehicle to journalists for the purpose of review.
