Volkswagen's third generation Tiguan gets exterior updates, is more spacious than rivals and the seating is flexible for added comfort. The upgraded 15" infotainment is worth it, offering a large view of the menus and making Google maps very easy to read. The menu system is a little muddled but you can save your preferences including a safety settings shortcut to the top of the screen for easy access.
The Tiguan range starts at €49,495, this 2.0 TDi R-Line starts at €59,895
Volkswagen Ireland lent the vehicle to journalists for the purpose of review.
