Having spent time in the ID.7 saloon recently, it's a wonder that Volkswagen have also launched a Tourer (estate) model. The ID.7 doesn't look as big on the outside as it is on the inside, yet it has acres of space and comfort for passengers.
It weighs around 2,200 kgs and will eek out nearly 600 kms but the mass does have an effect on agility. The technology is good, the trim levels have lots of spec but like everything else these days, the price is high for this premium feel electric saloon.
Volkswagen Ireland lent the vehicle to journalists for the purpose of review.
