Skoda has always been clever with its pricing and the Kodiaq, which aims to punch well above its weight in terms of competing with more established SUV manufacturers, will be priced from an appealing €28,795 for the five-seater petrol version. This comes with Volkswagen's well proven 1.4 TSi engine but it will be interesting to see how it works in a vehicle the size of the Kodiaq. The 2.0 litre diesel - common to all other cars in the VW group - will be the main option for increased engine capacity.
Standard equipment on the Kodiaq will include 17" alloy wheels, Bluetooth, cruise control, Climatronic air conditioning and smart phone connectivity with the entertainment system. Extras will include keyless entry, stop-start, an eight inch screen,
