Ford has launched its new supermini - the Ka+ - on the Irish market with a starting price of €13,050. The car comes with a 1.2 petrol engine derived from the 1.25 engine that is popular in the current Fiesta. The Ka+ is a five-door hatchback and Ford is making much of the generous interior space. It is slightly shorter than the Fiesta but taller by 29 mm.
Ford describes the interior space of the Ka as class-leading
Ford is making much of the generous interior space. The company says the front headroom and rear legroom are both class-leading.
It is also promising "agile and fun to drive" dynamics to add to the attraction of the price. 15-inch wheels, body-coloured bumpers, front fog lights and daytime running lights, an electronic stability programme and central locking are all standard.
The Ka+ is already on sale here.
