As if its X5 was’nt big enough, BMW has now confirmed it is going to start building an X7 SUV. We may not see too many in Ireland when they are produced but America; the Middel East and Russia have’nt yet fallen out of love with monster SUV’s. Six cylinder petrol and diesel engines are planned along with a V8 petrol version.
It has taken years for BMW to take the plunge into the uber SUV market and it was held back from going to market by environmental concerns. The X7 will have full-time four wheel drive and an automatic gearbox, of course.
