The MX-5 RF is for those who don’t like the insecurity of soft-tops or for whom the weather is a constant factor (Irish buyers are included here). There are two petrol engine choices – a 1.5 producing 129 horse power and a 2.0 litre version with 158 horse power.
The MX5 is one of those cars that feels like a classic that has been around forever but was only launched in 1998. Since then it has become a benchmark for two-seater driving and has never failed to disappoint, with excellent ride and handling and an ideal combination of power and style. It is also a lot less expensive than big-name small roadsters and does more into the bargain.
