The timing is good for Dacia, as the IRFU is bidding for the 2017 Women's World Cup, and Coghlan will play an important ambassadorial role in efforts to bring the tournament to Ireland.

She said: "This would be a fantastic vote of confidence for women's rugby in Ireland and abroad.

"It would be a very exciting time to showcase Ireland on the world stage. I have no doubt that the Irish public would embrace this event and show that we can successfully host these major tournaments."

Dacia says that aside from her rugby accolades, the maths and PE teacher from Clontarf  is the perfect fit for the brand, which encourages potential buyers to 'Do the Maths' to see how shockingly affordable their new car can be.
