Tradition dictates that the first citizen of Dublin has the first car registered in the capital each year, for use as transport for official engagements.
Vincent Norton, Executive Manager in the Office of the Lord Mayor, said: "I would like to convey my sincere appreciation to Volvo Cars Ireland Limited for providing the Lord Mayor for the fourth successive year, with the Volvo S80 D4 SE as the official mayoral car for 2015."
Adrian Yeates, Managing Director of Volvo Car Ireland, added: "The Volvo S80 D4 is a visible endorsement of the unique combination of executive comfort and the very low environmental impact that the Volvo range provides."
