Hurley is fast becoming one of the rising stars in the GAA, having last year been named as Munster U21 Player of the Year.
That same year also saw him join the Cork Senior Football Panel and quickly affirm his place within the team for the 2014 Season.
A native of Union Hall in West Cork, he began playing for Castlehaven at six years of age, most recently securing back to back county titles with Castlehaven for the first time last year, while being named Man of the Match in the final.
Graduating recently from Carlow IT with an honours degree in Business Marketing, he is also the institution's Player of the Year 2014.
