A total of 20 new jobs will be created with Hinchy's in Limerick City and six new jobs with the O'Brien Group in Tullamore, Co Offaly.
Meanwhile, a further 44 jobs will be secured with the appointment of Fitzpatrick's Garages in Carlow and Naas.
These developments bring the number of Opel dealerships in Ireland to 35, with a total of five new dealers being appointed in the last year.
The fifth dealer that opened last July was Barlo Autos, Kilkenny.
This positive news is a testament to the strength of the Opel brand - having attracted such established dealers - and also reaffirms Opel's presence in the Irish market.
Dave Sheeran, Managing Director of Opel Ireland, said: "Our customers are at the forefront of everything that we do.
"We have invested heavily in establishing a trusted dealer network to ensure our customers have a dedicated and professional service no matter where they are located."
