This marks not only a new chapter in the technological history of automobiles but a new era in terms of global mobility. Opel Ampera has already won “Car of the Year” in Europe, where it beat off stiff competition. Ampera won mainly because it’s the first electric vehicle that removes all range anxiety issues. Recently, the car was also awarded the maximum of five Euro-NCAP stars for safety.

Located at Dublin’s RDS Main Hall, the Energy Show is an exhibition showcasing leading suppliers of sustainable energy products and services from Ireland and Europe. The Opel Ampera is expected to go on sale in Ireland this September.
