Volkswagen Group Ireland Limited is to take control of SEAT distribution in Ireland.
Hispano Cars Ltd has announced that it has reached an agreement with SEAT SA which will see full responsibility for the importation, distribution and marketing of SEAT products in the Republic of Ireland transfer to Volkswagen Group Ireland Limited with effect from 1 November 2009.
Hispano Cars introduced the SEAT brand to Ireland in 1985.
SEAT has expressed its appreciation for the work done by Hispano Cars over the last 24 years and thanked it for the professional manner in which it has built the SEAT brand and created the highest levels of customer care.
Hispano Cars Ltd is jointly owned by the OHM Group and O'Flaherty Holdings, two independent motor distributors.
