The organisers of the Carole Nash Irish Motorbike & Scooter Show have announced that the Irish qualifier of the prestigious AMD World Custom Bike Building Competition is to return to the RDS Dublin from 27 February to 1 March.
Entrants to the competition spend months, even years, perfecting the engineering, design and paintwork on their bikes.
Through the affiliation of the Carole Nash Irish Motorbike & Scooter Show with the AMD International event, the organisers have created a platform for Irish custom bike builders to take their rightful place on the world stage.
The winner of the Irish Championship will be expected by the international judges to present a bike that stands out not only in terms of general engineering excellence but also in uniqueness of design.
Their creation must be capable of competing with the best designed custom bikes in the world.
