Cycle Fest in Dublin Docklands

Elite racing and family-friendly activities are coming to Dublin's Doclands on Sunday, 17 May. Cycling Ireland, in partnership with the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Ray McAdam, and Dublin City Council, has organised an exciting programme, including an inclusive cycle on the closed city centre streets, a balance bike race for younger participants, a Brompton folding bike race, and more. The RTÉ Concert Orchestra are bringing a family-friendly show to the National Concert Hall on Saturday, 16 May. From the stirring sounds of Leroy Anderson's Pirate March to the spectacular finale where everyone learns The Sailor's Hornpipe, Pirates Ahoy! is an unforgettable voyage through uncharted waters in search of a treasure trove of musical gems. Bureau de Change Song Contest

On Friday, 15 May, The Collaborations Agency and MCD are bringing The Bureau De Change Song Contest to Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre. It is the spirit of Eurovision through a distinctly Irish comedic lens. Now in its sixth year, the contest continues with Tony Cantwell, Michael Fry, Justine Stafford, Ali Fox, John Doran, Killian Sundermann, Kevin McGahern, Alison Spittle, Meg Reilly, Peter McGann, Sadhbh McLoughlin, Ryan Carrick, and Shane Daniel Byrne. Tarot & Collage Workshop

Segotia in Rathmines is hosting a tarot, art and collage workshop on Saturday, 16 May. Taking place from 11 am - 1:30 pm, Róisín will guide attendees through a gentle, reflective experience focused on self-exploration. Suitable for those 18+, all materials will be provided. Tickets available here.

Kate Butch: Choose Your Own Cabaret

Drag Queen Kate Butch is bringing her cabaret show to Dublin's Sugar Club on Sunday, 17 May. Kate is handing over control of the performance to the audience, as she allows them to select each song, each joke, and maybe even what she wears. Tickets available here.

Explore Fingal Markets

The Casino Model Railway Museum in Malahide will play host to a vibrant food market every Saturday from 16 May - 29 August. Meet local farmers, growers and producers. Bring home the delicious taste of fresh produce, baking and preserves. More information here.

Cycle to Sea Swim - Sea Point

Dublin City Council is hosting a free Sunday morning cycle and swim, kicking off at 10am from Sandymount Green. The guided cycle will bring you along the coast to Sea Point, where you can enjoy a high tide swim. This event will bring together a leisurely group cycle of about 12km and a guided sea swim with like-minded people. Bring your bike and your togs! Coffee and pastries available post-dip. The Tarantinos: Pub Quiz + Concert

Calling all Tarantino fans! The Bernard Shaw in Dublin 9 is hosting a themed pub quiz on 16 May with a live tribute concert, celebrating the worlds of director Quentin Tarantino. The quiz kicks off at 8:00pm, with doors open from 7:00pm. From 10:30pm, the night shifts into a live performance as The Tarantino's band takes the stage, playing a set of standout tracks featured across Quentin's films. Tickets available here.

Grace Mulvey: Did You Hear We're All Going To Die?

Comedian Grace Mulvey is bringing her latest stand-up show, Did You Hear We're All Going To Die? to Whelans on Sunday, 17 May. Running from 19:30 - 22:30, the show will laugh in the face of death but potentially cower at the idea of back fat, fascism, and low-rise jeans. Tickets available here.
