Series 12 of Home of the Year has returned to our screens, bringing viewers inside a fantastic mix of homes from across Ireland and showcasing the late Hugh Wallace's final episodes.
Each week, the judges visit three exceptional homes and score them out of 10 based on individuality, functionality, and clever design. The home with the highest combined score in each episode will advance to the grand final in April, where one lucky homeowner will be crowned the winner of the series.

Paul and Josephine, Donegal
Paul and Joesphine were in the right place at the right time when they purchased their Donegal home in 2022. Having just sold their previous house, the couple thought they might be ready to downsize, but fell in love with this beautiful manse. They spent over three years, working day and night, restoring the Victorian property to its former glory.
The interiors feature a classic design which has been decorated with carefully selected pieces of period-appropriate furniture, which the couple have often salvaged and reupholstered so they could remain true to the home's Victorian roots.
For Paul and Josephine, antiques are one of their biggest passions, so to be able to curate a home like this is a dream come true for them.
Grace and Robert, Dublin
Robert and Grace live in Dublin with their two children. When the couple found their property, they knew they wanted to add space for their family of four. The house had an area to the side where the front door was, and an overly large shed which took up space in the garden.
By removing the shed and extending the house out to the boundary wall, this gave them additional space and even a larger back garden. The original kitchen was smaller, and access to the garden was through it - so with this clever redesign for the ground floor, they were able to maximise the sense of flow throughout the home and add doors to access the garden, which brings great connection to the inside and outside.
The interior design of the home is described by Grace as refined and timeless, with an understated touch of luxury.
Vivienne and Enda, Kilkenny
Vivienne and Enda live in Co Kilkenny with their two daughters and dog, and purchased the site for their new build in 2022.
Over the next few years, Enda and Vivienne worked together to create their forever home, with Enda centring on the exterior while Vivienne focused on the interiors. The result is a stunning modern dormer bungalow finished with a white render.
The couple favour a transitional style which mixes classic shapes, clean lines, neutral palettes and varied textures. The family love that they have created a space to entertain and bring all their friends and loved ones together.
