Newgrange Farm hosts a lively Easter Eggstravaganza with seasonal games and activities for families across the weekend. Children can take part in classic fun, including hook the duck, the Lollypop Game and an Easter Bunny Toss, along with a colouring competition with prizes for different age groups. Alongside the activities, families can explore the farm and meet the animals, making it a relaxed and enjoyable Easter day out. Easter Adventures Await at Skypark Carlingford
Louth | 28 March - 12 April, 2026

Skypark in Carlingford reopens for the 2026 season, welcoming visitors back with a full programme of activities for Easter. Across the Easter weekend, families can enjoy special events including visits from the Easter Bunny, face painting, balloon entertainment and arts and crafts.

Running throughout the Easter holidays from 28th March to 12th April, the park also hosts its Easter Passport Scavenger Hunt, where visitors explore the grounds collecting stamps to earn a small treat. Alongside the seasonal activities, the All-Access Pass includes entry to attractions such as the Sky Aerial Adventure Course, Skynet bounce experience, mini golf, Ireland's Ancient East Maze and the Skypark Train, as well as newer additions including Sky Zip ziplines and the Sky Fall inflatable slide.

Teidí Tours
Dublin | 2, 3, 4 & 6 April

Teidí Tours return to Croke Park this Easter, offering a special experience for younger visitors that combines a teddy-making workshop with a guided stadium tour. Children create their own GAA Museum teidí, choosing, stuffing and dressing their new companion before bringing it along on the tour.

The experience includes access to the dressing rooms, a pitchside walk and entry to the GAA Museum, where families can follow a themed trail through the exhibitions.

Easter Egg Hunt
Galway | 4 - 6 April

Brigit’s Garden hosts its popular Easter Egg Hunt across the Easter weekend, with family-friendly trails set through the Celtic Gardens and Sun Trail. Younger children can follow the Mini Hunt while older children take on the Mighty Hunt, solving clues and collecting a chocolate reward at the end.

Alongside the hunt, families can enjoy arts and crafts, face painting, games and visits from the Easter Bunny, making it a relaxed and colourful spring day out.

Alice's Easter Wonderland
Kildare | 3 - 6 April, 2026

Alice’s Easter Wonderland brings a playful twist to the Irish National Stud and Gardens with family fun running daily from 12pm to 4pm. Visitors can explore the grounds while discovering touches of Wonderland along the way, including the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at the Thatch Cottage, where mischief and light entertainment add to the afternoon.

Easter Bunny's Big Surprise
Wexford | 3-6 April, 2026

Something a little different arrives at Secret Valley this Easter, as the Easter Bunny sets up his own mini farm filled with rabbits, chicks and baby goats. With a grumpy farmer trying to claim the eggs, families are invited to follow a trail, complete a farm task checklist and help save Easter before meeting the Bunny in his Easter Village.

Along the way, children can hand-feed llamas and alpacas, bottle-feed kid goats, take part in woodland tasks and enjoy animal talks and activities. Once the checklist is complete, a visit to the Easter Village brings a special treat and a chance to meet the Bunny, before a tractor ride back through the park. Admission to the wildlife park and all activities are included.

Easter at Fota
Cork | 28 March - 12 April

Fota Wildlife Park hosts a full programme of Easter activities, including its self-led Eggs-plorer Trail, where families can follow clues around the park and learn about egg-laying species. Seasonal wildlife talks and daily feeding times also take place throughout the day, offering opportunities to see animals up close and learn more about conservation.

Additional activities include Easter face painting on selected dates, with all events included in general admission. Open daily from 9.30am, it offers a varied and engaging day out for families over the Easter holidays.

Inspireland Art & Animation Camps
Ireland | 30 March - 10 April

Easter Animation Camps take place across Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Castlebar, offering dedicated programmes for both children and teens in a range of creative venues. Young participants work with professional animators to explore character design, storyboarding and stop-motion techniques, bringing their own ideas to life in a supportive and hands-on environment.

Designed as a space for creativity and confidence, the camps guide children and teens through the full animation process, from concept to final piece, while building new skills and connecting with others who share an interest in art and storytelling.

In Limerick, camps take place from 30th March to 2nd April. In Cork and Castlebar, camps run from 7th to 10th April. Dublin has programmes available on both weeks.

Easter at Tearaways

Tearaways offers a mix of indoor and outdoor activities for families over the Easter break, with a 6,000 square foot indoor play centre featuring slides, crawling tunnels, ball pits and a dedicated toddler area. Treetop Walk Easter Challenge

The Treetop Walk Easter Challenge invites families to take part in a self-guided trail filled with fun tasks along the route at Beyond The Trees Avondale. From spotting hidden clues to solving puzzles, each participant follows the challenge sheet with the chance to win prizes including family passes, hotel stays and adventure vouchers.

On 4, 5 and 6 April, a combined experience ticket is available, bringing together the full Easter offering in one visit. Marlhill Open Farm

Funderland
Cork | 27 March - 12 April

Funderland returns to Centre Park Road near Páirc Uí Chaoimh, bringing one of Europe’s largest travelling theme park events back to Cork for the Easter holidays. The outdoor event features a wide mix of attractions, from high-thrill rollercoasters and rides for older visitors to a strong selection of options for younger children.

Running annually in Cork since 1995, Funderland has become a regular part of the Easter calendar, offering a lively atmosphere and a full day of entertainment. Admission tickets are required for all visitors and can be purchased online or at the entrance, with free on-site parking available, subject to capacity.

Willy Wonka Easter Experience
Kilkenny | 28 March - 12 April

Jurassic Newpark transforms this Easter with a Wonka-themed experience where families can explore the dinosaur park alongside interactive games and challenges inspired by Willy Wonka.
