Photographer Arann McCormack and artist Nicole Holbrook are hosting a beginner's guide to freelancing in Bewleys on Grafton Street, Saturday, 7 March from 1pm-2pm.
Soft Resistance
Soft Resistance, a feminist ‘zine-making’ workshop, is set to take place in Bewleys on International Women’s Day, Sunday, 8 March. A zine is a small, self-published DIY booklet, often made by hand using collage, writing or drawings. Through collage design and material play, artist Lily Breslin will invite attendees to reflect on how visual culture shapes agency, safety and self-perception.
Seachtain na Gaeilge at Richmond Barracks
From 4 - 11 March, Richmond Barracks in Inchicore will be hosting a range of activities to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge. On Saturday, 7 March, there will be historical walking tours and 'make and create' family workshops. See the full programme of events here.
Disrupt Disability Arts Festival
Now in its third year, Disrupt Disability Arts Festival is a disability-led and disability-focused arts festival championing the creativity, voices, and perspectives of disabled artists.
