Clothes and Gift Swap
Do you have some unwanted Christmas presents lying around after the holidays? Swords Tidy Towns has organised a clothes and gift swapping event on Saturday, 10 January, from 11am to 1pm. Taking place at River Valley Community Centre in Swords, this free event will allow you to exchange up to five used (but clean) or unwanted items. More info here.
Gallery Crawl
Alternative Dublin is hosting a two-hour tour of The National Gallery this weekend - the perfect opportunity to meet new people and appreciate some beautiful art. Taking place on Saturday, 10 January, at 1pm, tickets cost €9.55 on Eventbrite.
Salsa & Bachata Classes
Every Sunday, Quedadas Salseras hosts salsa and bachata dance classes in LoSt LaNe. Beginner and intermediate level salsa classes kick off at 5pm, followed by beginner and intermediate bachata classes at 6pm, with a final social dance kicking off at 7pm. Tickets cost €17.07 on Eventbrite.
Gals On Mats x Pilates Flow & Coffee
Gals on Adventures is bringing a Pilates session to Segotia in Rathmines. The 45-minute class starts at 2:30pm on the dot and is open to all levels. After the session, the group will head to a local café for a coffee and a chat. Tickets cost €27.79 on Eventbrite and include the Pilates class (mats are provided) and a warm drink.
The Comfy Jam
Looking for a cosy night out? NeuBrí - a group of three musicians - is bringing live music to the Racket Space at the Bernard Shaw on Friday, 9 January from 7pm to 10:30pm. Expect a laid-back vibe with a live band performing a variety of genres alongside friends, musicians and artists. Tickets are €11.70 on Eventbrite and this is an 18+ event.
Token
Token has returned! The beloved arcade bar is now open in the IFSC in Dublin 1, with live DJs playing from 9pm every Friday. Enjoy some tunes while you play vintage arcade machines, darts, and console classics. If you want to sing your heart out, hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s will be on the speakers and in the karaoke booths.
