Presented by Baz Ashmawy, DIY SOS: The Big Build Ireland is a heart-warming show that delivers real-life results. Over the course of just nine days, through the power of goodwill, hard work, and community spirit, a significant home renovation will take place for a family in need.
Each of the families featured on the show were facing difficult personal circumstances and needed help to improve their quality of life.
The battalions of high-vis vests and hard hats are corralled and cajoled by Baz, who, as always, keeps spirits high and tensions low as teams work into the night to realise these impressive constructions and overhauls.
To celebrate all the hard work from this year's series, we're looking back at the four families' stories and the many suppliers who helped their new homes happen.

In the fourth and final build of the year, the DIY SOS team worked on a community in Wicklow Town to help complete a dream home for the Ferguson family, who need a specially adapted house for 17-year-old Kyle.
Kyle lives with his parents as well as his twin sister, Sophie, his older brother, Evan, and his much-loved assistance dog, Kazz.
Living with cerebral palsy, Kyle uses a wheelchair, but the layout of the family home didn't allow him to use it indoors, meaning that he relied on tripods to get around, which became increasingly exhausting.
He depended on his parents to support him up and down the stairs, which meant he could only access the upstairs area at bedtime. The main bathroom only had a standard bath, which was no longer suitable for his needs.
His family were working hard to adapt their home so that Kyle could live with greater independence, dignity, and comfort, but the emotional and physical strain was becoming too much.
