From a series of exceptionally stylish markets to an 18+ Mario Kart tournament complete with live band, plenty is happening across the capital this weekend.
Dublin Colour Walk

At 2pm on Sunday, 27 April, Dublin will become awash with colour as Taryn De Vere and Michael Cooney host a colour walk. Dress up in your most colourful and fabulous clothes and meet some new friends for a wander through Dublin. These walks will take place on the last Sunday of every month.
The Dopamine Market

How much: €2 entry as a donation to Women's Aid
Running from 12pm - 4pm, a curated and pre-loved sale market featuring over 20 fashion lovers and their colourful wardrobes will be on sale. The clothing and design market has been curated by fashion creative Zeda the Architect, jewellery designer Chupi Sweetman and style expert Courtney Smith.
The Drip is a Talent Market

Where: Flux Studios, Chatham Row, D2
How much: Free entry
Just one day later, Zeda the Architect will curate a menswear market sale at Flux Studios. Running from 12pm - 6pm, Flux Studios will host some exceptionally slick pieces featuring the work of over 15 of the waviest Irish streetwear, menswear, and vintage brands.
Sober Speed Dating for LGBTQ+ Women and Non-Binary Community- aged up to 35
When: Saturday, 26 April
Where: Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre, 105 Capel Street
How much: €15
Conscious Connections is hosting a sober night of speed dating for LGBTQ+ women and non-binary people at the Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre. This specific event is for people up to the age of 35. There will be an hour-long structured speed dating session, which will involve rotational as well as timed one-on-one conversations. Arrive by 2.00pm latest. Tickets can be found here.
Drimnagh Record Fair

Music-enthusiast Steve Murrin is set to host Dublin's largest Record, Cassette & CD Fair. There will be thousands of classic and vintage LPs, Singles, Cassettes and CDs covering all styles of music. There will be traders and private sellers offering everything from bargains to high-end collectables, and much more!
You will find it opposite the Suir Rd. Luas stop where there is plenty of free parking.
Mario Kart Live: Experience!

Where: Rascals Brewing Company, Tyrconnell Road, D8

For those aged 18 and over, this Mario Kart Wii tournament - complete with live band - will kick off at 7pm at the Rascals Brewing Company. The tournament is capped at 24 players, but there will be a mix of free play and mini-games throughout the evening, giving everyone a chance to join the fun. Get your tickets here.

April Book Club

Overbooked, a book club for the booked and busy, is taking place in the Sitting Room at Delahunt this Sunday. From 4pm - 6pm, the literary group will dive into Brighton Rock, "a noir-tinged classic packed with Catholic guilt, seaside crime, and big existential questions". Chat through the plot twists, moral dilemmas, and of course, that ending while sipping on a glass of bubbly (alcoholic and non-alcoholic available).

Mending Workshop

Running from 11am - 12:30pm, this hands-on workshop will teach simple hand sewing techniques to repair your clothes and extend their life. Discover how to fix seams, sew buttons, and mend small holes—no experience needed! Perfect for anyone interested in learning basic sewing skills. Bring two items to repair, workshop lasts 90 minutes. A small fee will be charged, which will be donated to Fashion Revolution Week.
