Originally from Mexico, Jorge moved to Ireland over 12 years ago and has now settled in Dublin.

With a degree in industrial design engineering, the 38-year-old started his varied career by working in tech companies like Google and TikTok before going on to set up his own interior design business.

In his spare time, he works on design projects, using his green thumb to take on intimate balcony makeovers to small-scale garden, patio and interior designs.

Jorge has watched Super Garden over the years and always dreamed of taking part. He feels it will help him to grow as a designer and would be a great personal accomplishment.

This season, the designers have been paired up with homeowners in a new housing development based in Baker Hall in Navan, County Meath. They will each be challenged to create a fitting home for their clients within three weeks, and with a budget of €15,000.

Before

Jorge's homeowners, Layla and Dylan, were looking for some dog-friendly features for their pup Nando as well as a comfortable space for entertaining family and friends in the summer.

After

In response, Jorge delivered an amazing creation titled 'Fáilte Fiesta', a design that combines the warm and welcoming cultures of Ireland and Mexico.
