From improv comedy and movie screenings to art shows and dance battles, there is plenty happening in Dublin this weekend.

Cutting-edge and contemporary art is set to be showcased at the first ever Art Evolve fair at Dublin’s RDS. Members of the Contemporary Art Gallery Association (CAGA) will join forces with a number of galleries and artists to come together for the first time from 4-6 April. Visitors can expect an incredible installation by street artist Maser, as well as fantastic works by world renowned abstract painter Sean Scully, celebrated sculptor Eilis O’Connell and Aosdána member Patrick Graham.

Irish hip-hop dancer Jessie Thompson - a resident Artist at Project Arts Centre and Ireland's Inaugural Red Bull Dance Your Style Winner - has organised a Hip Hop Dance Battle event named ‘Battle of Zen’. This is a community-based event working to bring together dancers and artists from the Irish and International dance scene.

Showcasing the best of Irish and International improvised comedy, Stephen and Pals will host an impressive line-up of Irish talent including Man Overboard (Jamie Sykes and Niall Johnson) and Tumbleweed (Kelly Shatter & Pearl O'Rourke) as well as some special guests. This BYOB* event will take place at the Pearse Centre on Friday, 4 April with tickets costing €12.

Join Rascals Movie Club to get into the swing of Spring by watching the iconic Ferris Bueller's Day Off, a film all about getting out into the sun and making memories with friends. Polish Wine Fest was founded by Maggie Domaradzka and Maja Ignaczewska, a couple of wine lovers who are now Ireland's sole importer and wholesale distributor of Polish wines. Their inaugral event in 2022 attracted over 250 wine enthusiasts, and since then has become an annual event in The Fumbally Stables. This year's event will be filled with wine, oysters and pierogies.
Portrane Cliff Walk, Swim & Sauna x Gals On Adventures
