On tonight's First Dates, sparks flew as ‘sailor-mouthed’ Becky found the shy guy of her dreams in competitive gamer Aaron.

Despite being approached by both men and women on a regular basis, 24-year old Becky told match-makers that the novelty of being single has worn off over the past year, and she is now ready to settle down with someone special.

Adopted from Thailand when she was 11 months old, Becky was raised in Kilkenny and says that she is ready to meet someone who can appreciate her for all she's worth.

"On a scale of one to 10, I would rate myself an eight or nine out of 10," she laughs. "I'm trying to be humble."

Working in office administration, she says she's great with computers and is looking for someone with similar interests.

Thankfully, 26-year-old Aaron seems to tick all the boxes.

A self-proclaimed introvert, the Wexford man says he has struggled with anxiety in the past but has spent the past two years working on his mental health and is now happier than ever.

When it comes to dating, he is looking for a girl with tattoos, piercings and, ideally, to be a little shorter than him.

"I'd love a relationship," he told producers. "I do miss how it feels having that someone. What I like to do is, I like to spoil people and I just miss spoiling someone."

Cut to Becky entering the restaurant as a four foot nine vision in pink bows and tattoos.

Bonding over computers, video games, and cosplay, the two danced around a future date at ComicCon before their starters even arrived.

Wearing his heart on his sleeve, Aaron opened up about counselling, the meanings behind his tattoos, and past relationships.

Across the table, Becky was equally vulnerable, discussing her autism diagnosis at the age of 21 and her experience of bullying in school.

"A lot of people wouldn't know that I'm actually autistic," she told cameras. "A lot of people have this vision of autism in their head of someone that's introverted, doesn't really speak much, doesn't leave their house. That's just not true."

Bonding over life experiences, the two hit it off immediately and agreed to continue their date after dinner, with Becky asking Aaron to show her around Dublin.
