From a night market in Temple Bar to a dog-friendly screening of The Little Mermaid in Dublin 2, there is plenty to keep you entertained in Dublin this weekend.

Revival Night Market

Running every Thursday from 20 June - 29 August, the Revival market will host local traders in Temple Bar Square from 2-8pm. From handmade jewellery to sustainable selfcare and fashion, you can support creators, makers, and vintage finders all summer long.

Over The Top Comedy

Start your weekend off a little early (and a little wild) with a night of over the top comedy. Tonight, Thursday, 8 August, comedians Tony Cantwell, Dan Barry, Owen Colgan, Kate Moylan, and former WWE Champion Nic Nemeth (aka Dolph Ziggler) will go head to head in Lost Lane. Running from 8pm-11pm, tickets cost €27.75.

Doggy Cinema

If you ever dreamed of watching The Little Mermaid on the big screen with your furry friend by your side, now is your time to shine. Coco, Juno and Gigi - the minds behind The Daily Cavalier Instagram page - are hosting a doggy-friendly cinema day on Sunday, 11 August at 2pm in The Dot Theatre in Dublin 2. Human tickets are €14 (dogs go free).

Pirates of Parliment Street

The Pirates of Parliament Street is a family-friendly event taking place on Saturday and Sunday afternoons for the first three weekends of August. Taking place on Parliament Street in Temple Bar, from 2pm-6pm, there will be pirate-themed games, face painting, a sword workshop and much more.

Soulful Saturday Reset

If you need a little peace and quiet this weekend, check out Conscious Dublin's Soulful Saturday Reset - a vinyasa yoga, sound bath and sauna workshop taking place in Cross Guns Business Park, Royal Canal Bank, Phibsborough. Running from 10am - 1pm, the event aims to release stress, restore balance, and harmonize your energy. Come as you are, no experience necessary. Tickets cost €35.

We've Only Just Begun Festival 2024

Running across two stages, We've Only Just Begun is an annual three-day music festival that takes place in the iconic venue of Whelan’s on Wexford Street. Running from Thursday, 8 Aug - Sunday, 10 Aug, the line-up includes performances from a variety of acts including The Cliffords, Celaviedmai, Niamh Bury, Rachel Mae Hannon, Emma Noodles, Thanks Mom, and many more. Tickets are just €7 per night or €15 for the full festival.
