From comedy cabaret in Portobello, to Ireland's premiere garden party in the Phoenix Park, Dublin is filled to the brim with activities for the June Bank Holiday weekend.

A staple of the June Bank Holiday Weekend, Bloom is an annual extravaganza of food, fashion, flowers and craft. Now celebrating its 18th year, Ireland's premier garden festival takes place across 70 beautiful acres of Dublin's Phoenix Park over the course of five days (May 30 - June 3). To kick start Pride month, Mother Dublin is hosting a Bank Holiday special on Sunday, June 2, from 11pm - 3am. Rocky T Delgado will be on the decks in the main room and Billy Bunzari will be belting out tunes in the Library. Limited early-bird tickets are on sale now from €10 + booking fee.
The Big Hot Summer Pride Egg Party is coming to Portobello's Bello Bar on Saturday, June 1, at 7:30pm. The queer cabaret will be hosted by Aoife Sweeney O'Connor, with the incredible Paul Piano Prior on the keys, alongside a dazzling line-up of drag, burlesque, music, comedy. As for the dress code? Be sure to serve "beachy pridey ridey realness". Tickets from €13.85.
To celebrate a milestone anniversary on the airwaves, Cian Ó Cíobháin is hosting a disco on Friday, May 31, at 8pm in the Hen's Teeth in Dublin 8. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of his radio show, An Taobh Tuathail on RTÉ RnaG, the DJ will freestyle through his record collection, "spinning disco, house, techno, Italo, half-forgotten classics and dreamy bangers".

Taking place from Friday, 31 May - Monday, 3 June, the Skerries Midsummer Festival will offer a weekend of music, food, movies and seaside fun. As well as live music (including an Abba tribute band!), the festival will include a festival fun fair with children's rides, inflatable slides, and plenty of street food.

Dalkey Vintage and Classic Car Festival runs at the beginning of June each year. On Monday, June 3, from 11.30am to 6pm, the main street in Dalkey will close to welcome the "who's who" of classic cars, including Mercedes-Benz, Alfa Romeo, Jaguar, Triumph and Lancia. There will also be music and children’s entertainment throughout the day.

Balbriggan Summerfest is back again this year, and is set to run for the June Bank Holiday Weekend. There will be a Vintage Fair, Balbriggan's Got Talent, The Great Balbriggan Bake Off, Summerfest 5k Road Race, Pet Show, Sandcastle Competition, Blessing of the Boats, Senior Citizen’s Tea Party and Bingo, Live music, Fireworks and Carnival. Something for everyone.
