Celebrity stylist Andrew Mukamal has announced the release of Barbie: The World Tour, a photo book documenting the dazzling array of Barbie-inspired outfits worn by Margot Robbie throughout the Barbie press tour.

Published by Rizzoli New York, the book is due to hit shelves on March 8, 2024, and is being described as the "ultimate fashion homage to Barbie".

Shot by photographer Craig McDean, the book promises a "treasure trove" of rare materials from Mattel's archives, as well as shots of Robbie's incredible red carpet moments, and never before seen looks.

The book will also feature contributions from Robbie, Mukamal, and the world-class designers they worked with to recreate the doll's many fabulous ensembles.

Dressed in custom designs from Vivienne Westwood, Pucci, Schiaparelli Haute Couture - and an endless stream of pink Manolo Blahnik heels - the Australian actress transformed herself into her character with the help of a detail-orientated glam team.

Announcing the news on Instagram, Mukamal says that the idea for the book came about in March 2023 as he was prepping for the tour, but insists that he never could have imagined that his dream would come true just a few months later.

Thanking Robbie for this "once in a lifetime" venture, the stylist described their fashionable journey as "a wild ride".

"Thank you Margot for bringing me on this wild ride and being the most incredible and trusting partner. Every second of the process, every conversation, every fitting, and every quick outfit change was an absolute joy. None of this would have been possible without your unwavering faith and confidence in me and my vision for what I knew would be a project that would change my life.

"This book is a labor of love, dedicated to all the Barbie lovers and fashion fans around the world. Hope you enjoy."
