Cork woman Samantha Barry joined an esteemed list of influential leaders and celebrities as one of the few to ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange(NYSE) this week.
The Irishwoman and Glamour US editor-in-chief called the experience a "pinch-me, bucket list" moment.
The cinematic event took place as part of Glamour's Women of the Year celebrations, which saw the magazine honour a number leaders across a variety of industries at its annual awards gala earlier this month.
The largely ceremonial event is a highly respected one in New York City business, and the ringing of the bell is "critical to the orderly functioning of the marketplace, assuring that no trades take place before the opening or after the close", according to the NYSE.
Barry shared a post about the event on Instagram, saying it was a "thrill". She also shared the moment with a number of her team from Glamour, as well as from the advisory board. Also there was her sister Davina, who attended the Women of the Year Awards, as well.
Barry, naturally dressed to the nines for the occasion, wearing an elegant but edgy brown leather midi dress by Tanya Taylor, which featured a sweetheart bustier detail on the chest, a front slit, short sleeves and a belt to cinch the waist.
She paired this with slouchy black knee-high boots by Reformation, creating an effortlessly chic autumnal look.
