This week's RTÉ Today makeover is Denise Maher from the beautiful Kingdom of Kerry.
A Tralee native, the 45-year-old is a mum to two grown up girls, Shannon and Ciara, who nominated their mum to help her get her mojo back.
After a tough few years with the separation of her marriage, the serious illness of her sister, Siobhan, the loss of her beloved dog Ellie, and the loss of her novelty cake and cupcake business, Denise hit an all time low.
She is trying to look forward and focus on a brighter future and feels this could be just the opportunity to help this to happen.
Now that her girls are grown up and have their own lives, Denise has found that her confidence is very low and is hoping this process helps her self-belief to find premises and restart her business soon.
"This is day one of turning my life around," Denise told the Today show team.
"I can't believe it", she said of her make-over, "I knew I felt amazing but now I can see why". "I love the hair, the makeup and this stunning outfit. I am so grateful to the Glam Squad and everyone at Today. I will never forget my trip here".
Today's glam team was comprised of hair stylist Pamela Morrissey who brought some warmth into the Denise's hair to compliment her skin tone. Make-up artist Mark Rodgers cooled her skin with a nifty cucumber trick and brought the glow back into her skin with a gorgeous makeup look.
Finally, stylist Fiona Hayes found the perfect dress to accentuate Denise's hourglass figure in the most timeless dress and glittering accessories, all gifted from Pamela Scott.
