Despite having a role in one of the biggest films of the year, the Irish star clearly hasn't had her fill of Barbieland, as she dropped into a showing of Barbie this weekend.
The Galway native, who appears in the hugely successful film, visited a local cinema to support the project with her family.
Pálás Cinema on Galway's Merchant Road is an arthouse cinema and sister cinema to the Light House Cinema in Dublin's Smithfield. Predictably so, the cinema's audience base are passionately into film, as proven by Coughlan showing up dressed to the theme.
The Bridgerton star attended the showing with members from her family, all dressed in various shades of pink. Ever the style inspiration, Coughlan herself managed to make a statement in an oversized boiler suit in a delicate shade of soft pink, rolled at the ankles to give a structured look and accented with badges on the chest.
She paired this with pointed toe stilettoes in a deeper shade of pink, and finished her look with a deep red lipstick.
Coughlan appears in the film, directed by Greta Gerwig and starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, as a 'diplomat Barbie', and appears in promotional images with blown out red hair and wearing a voluminous dress.
Earlier this month, however, Coughlan had walked the red carpet at the European premiere for the film, oozing elegance in a custom hourglass-shaped Wiederhoeft gown that dripped with gems and crystals.
Posting on their Instagram account, the cinema celebrated the showstopping weekend of films and audiences, spotlighting both Barbie and Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan's ambitious examination of J. Robert Oppenheimer and the creation of the atomic bomb.
"The release of these two amazing movies has made this a record breaking weekend for Pálás - and then to top it all off we had a visit from a real live Barbie; Nicola Coughlan and her family!" the cinema posted.
"Thank you so much to all of our amazing customers - you really took it to heart when we said dress up is encouraged for Barbenheimer weekend, and we love you for it."
